Despair not that your manuscript has been rejected yet again.
Take heart from the case of almost 60-year-old Paul Torday who is seeing his first novel, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen being made into a major movie starring Ewan McGregor and Emily Blunt.
He had his first story published in a women’s magazine in 1965 – and then nothing more until he decided “to have one last go” and scored an acceptance for Salmon Fishing in 2007.
Success breeds success and he has had a new book out every year since.
It’s never too late ….
