Almost there

Into the home straight. The finish line is so close. I can see it, there, emerging from the mists that cloud my mind.

All that’s needed is that final surge of creativity, the ramping up of the action, the delivery of drama, the concluding nail-biting moments.

Then we can all relax, take a few calming breaths and hopefully gather our resources – mental and physical – for whatever dramas the future might bring.

All this to say that the fifth book featuring reluctant Down Under sleuth Bromo Perkins is almost finished. I have this day zoomed past 90,000 words and it really is time to wrap it all up.

But will he survive as he plunges into that dark, forbidding disused warehouse knowing that somewhere within awaits the murderous former Bulgarian mafia man, Stan Probert, and his brutal henchmen?

Watch this space.
